Happy wednesday!

Already we've had a lovely morning.
We got Collin off to the bus in time, we headed to the pharmacy from there.
Vaughn has what my doctor called " impetigo" ...I on the other hand think he's an idiot. I had him take a swab and actually find out what it is. He was there 3 weeks ago with this rash on his face and so the antibiotics started....about a week after the had finished and the rash was gone BAM it was back. He woke up yesterday with his face just covered. So I called and had him taken in immediately. So now he is on a stronger penicillin . Fingers crossed this one will do it.
He said if it comes back the whole family needs to come and have a test because one of us might be carrying it but showing no symptoms and just giving it back to him.
Hopefully that is not the case.

After the medicine we went to our wednesday Farmers Market. Oh how we love it there! Vaughn is a giant fan of the perogies! ( as am I but I barely get any with his little hands in the bag lol )
We got some cookies and fudge too. I love how cheap things can be there!
I got some natural arthritis medicine for Searra. The medicam she was on is just way out of our price range and she's having such a hard time walking. I feel awful but we can't afford $100 a bottle every month.
So fingers crossed again that this will work too. It's a fraction of the cost. He even gave me an extra bag because he was that confident I would love it and come back for more. Things like that definitely make me interested.
Now we're gonna snuggle up for a movie and munch on our cookies! ( After we medicate everyone lol )

zoo trip!

Today we're going to head to the zoo! Collin has been under the weather so hopefully he'll be up for it today.
We need to have a family trip to the Torontoo Zoo soon! Collin's grandma got us a family pass for his birthday this year! So exciting, especially since it's not too cheap for all of us to go.

yey for the nice weather!

little update

My poor little Collin has been sick all weekend. From throwing up on friday to a hellish fever yesterday that made us leave the indoor play park. Poor little man. He's home from school today.

Vaughn is jumping on my lap as full of energy as ever. He believes he is helping me write lol.

Today I have an appointment with a specialist for my eye...kinda freaking me out. I have this lump on the inside of my eyelid which MY doctor said...hmm I dunno what it is put a cloth on it.
...a cloth? there is some strange red LUMP inside my eye...send me to a specialist!
So to the specialist I go.

My eyes have been terrible lately too, I think I need to get my eyes checked again. I can barely see a thing on the computer without my glasses :(
Stupid Astigmatism.

Goodbye beautiful

My beautiful little chameleon just died in my hands.
She was sleeping during the day yesterday which is a sign of a sick chameleon.
I tried to feed her today and give her some water. She wouldn't take either so I used a medicine dropped to give her some water and then I just held her.
About 10 mins later her body squirmed a bit and then she was limp. I kept holding her and let the tears flow while the boys asked some questions.
Then her tail uncurled and her eyes shot open and rolled to the back of her head. The poor boys thought this meant she was " ok " because her eyes were "open". They both held her for a minute and said goodbye.
Collin is very good with understanding death, Vaughn was giggling that he got to hold her, he wasn't aware of what just happened.

I only had her for about 14 months but she was part of the family and she was a pet I was REALLY looking forward to seeing be an adult and be filled with beautiful colours.

I used to manage reptiles for a job so I know I had done everything properly. Especially after having her this long.

Her name was Castor, we got her from a reptile expo where we were told she was a male. And after a few months it was pretty evident that she was in fact a she. Male Nosy Be Panther Chameleons turn a gorgeous bright blue. She never achieved that. But we kept calling her Castor, I'm sure she didn't mind.

I'm glad she's not in pain and she will be very missed. The day we got her ^

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUUUURIG!!!

We left the ceremony time off our invites! Are you kidding me! How did Mike and I both not notice that!?

I suppose this is what happens when you do everything yourselves. We were both really happy with how the turned out but now we have people thinking they're only invited to the reception.

Jeeze. Of all the things it had to be the invites!

Deep breaths.

But....here they are! ( This is the one we kept )
I took pages from the novel "Alice In Wonderland" and I got this great tape on Etsy to use for the binding to make them into their own mini novels with our invites tucked inside!
